While earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Butler University, Lindsey was often confronted with the question, “What are you going to do with that?” Luckily, a writing assignment gave her the opportunity to interview nonprofit leaders in Central Indiana, which planted the seed for her 14-year career as a nonprofit professional. She was drawn to the tough issues that these organizations were tackling and the stories of hope and positive change that resulted from this important work.
Holding various development and marketing roles for nonprofits in Indiana and Wisconsin, Lindsey built community support for impactful programs and developed strategies that led to long-term stakeholder engagement.
“Nonprofits are doing the critical work of transforming our communities into inclusive places and spaces where all people can thrive. I feel very privileged to be able to help these amazing organizations build capacity and achieve results.”
A natural learner and an analytical thinker, Lindsey continuously seeks ways to build her library of knowledge about our community and its resources while also finding ways to connect the dots for greater impact.
Lindsey loves exploring the outdoors, reading, walking, and spending time with her family. She finds the pursuit of a new hobby thrilling and has picked up knitting, embroidery, painting, gardening, vegetable fermentation, and candle-making over the years (just to name a few!).
